Mäx — German & Spanish, A1 to B2
Mäx drills the parts of a language that word lists never fix: which article a noun takes, which case or preposition it wants, where the verb goes, and when one past tense beats another. Every exercise runs on your phone, with no account and no connection needed — only the Tutor, where you can ask a question in your own words, goes online.

Common questions
Does it work offline? Every exercise does — words, drills, grammar, stories, listening and speaking all work in Airplane Mode. The one exception is the Tutor, which needs a connection to answer; it says so when it cannot reach it.
Do I need an account? No. The app opens straight into a short placement check and everything is unlocked from the start.
Why does it ask for the microphone? Only for the speaking drill, and only when you tap the microphone button inside it. Declining is fine — that one drill explains itself and the rest of the app is unaffected. See the privacy policy for what happens to the audio.
How do I delete my data? Settings → Reset progress clears it inside the app, and deleting the app removes everything. None of it exists anywhere else.
How do I switch language? Settings → the first option chooses what you are learning; the one below it chooses the language your explanations are shown in. Progress is kept separately for each.
